Diploma in Education(D.Ed)

Diploma in Education course is opportunity for those students who have passed 10+2/Intermediate examination and desirous to become a competent teacher in primary educational institutions. Aspirant students can get admission directly in the institution by filling the application form in the college (As per Minority Institution Norms). The institution offers 50 seats in this program, duration of which is two years.

D.Ed. Eligibility Criteria

  • The Candidate must have passed 12th level exam or from a recognized board or school.
  • The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved candidates) in the 12th of equivalent exam.

The Students who seek admission to two Year course need to fulfill some of the eligibility criteria as per the requirement for admission. The basic eligibility criteria which the students must fulfill in order to get admission to this dual degree course are:

1. D.Ed. Course Fee

  • Ed. 25800 annually (two installment)

2. Duration

  • 02 Years

RESOLUTION OF NEW ERA EDUCATION SOCIETY

The General Secretary informed the members that being a Sikh Minority Institution our College is permitted to conduct admissions for B.Ed.(Two Year Course), B.A/BSc.-B.Ed. (Four Year integrated Course) D.Ed. (Two Year Course) its own level. Members discussed the matter in details and resolved as under:

Accordingly H.H.S. New Era College of Education Society should fill all the seats from the merit list decided by the Managing Committee. Out of these seats 60% seats will be reserved for Sikh Minority candidates. Remaining 40% seats will be available for general candidates. In case, the Sikh reserved seats are not filled by Sikh candidates then these seats will be offered to Non-Sikh candidates strictly on merit. It is further resolved that:

  1. The Admission will be made as decided by the Society in the ratio 60:40 i.e. Sikh Minority students 60% and others 40%.
  2. The admissions will be done in fair and transparent manner. Admissions are taken purely on merit.
  3. Wide publicity should be made for providing adequate opportunity to the minority as well as other candidates.
  4. Brochure / prospectus containing all the relevant information may be brought out immediately by the College itself.

The   members authorized General Secretary to   take necessary   action in this regard immediately.
